It is with the utmost regret that I post the obituary for my father, one of the greatest dads to walk this earth. A heartfelt thanks for all of the messages, calls, txts and emails that have already been pouring in. Im grateful for the love and support that is overflowing my way. Godspeed Don to the warmth and light, to your beloved wife who you lost just two short years ago, and to all of your family and friends who are waiting to greet you. I will miss you and love you always... DONALD V. WESTURA Sr. Laborer Town of Boonton Street Department DATELINE: BOONTON Donald V. Westura, Age 81, passed away on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2014 at his home. He was born in Morristown and lived in Boonton for his entire life Donald worked at the Town of Boonton Street Department for 25 years before retiring as a Sr. Laborer. He was a Life Member of the Boonton Kiwanis First-Aid Squad, and a life member of the Sokol Hall Lodge #32 in Boonton. He was a U.S. Army Airborne Paratrooper, and an avid bowler. Son of George and Mollie Westura of Boonton, his survivors include his loving sons; James M. and Todd W. and his wife Luisa; and his cherished grandchildren, Olivia and Luca. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Friday, June 9, 2014 at 10 a.m. at the Par-Troy Funeral Home. Interment: Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Boonton Kiwanis First-Aid Squad, PO Box 16, Boonton, NJ 07005 or the Town of Boonton Fire Department, 100 Washington Street, Boonton, NJ 07005.
