It is wonderful how the world unfolds sometimes. When Margaret Meagher and I decided to leave Rome a few days earlier than expected we decided to travel to Siena (which was beautiful) and then on to Lucca, a pretty little town near Pisa (the leaning tower one). Now about 3 years ago we were in Italy touring with our film MIGHTY UKE and we were at a music festival in Caldogno, near Venice. There we met a lovely fella named Lorenzo, a ukulele player and songwriter. We had some great conversation about music and film and life. I didnt remember this but Margaret remembered that Lorenzo lived in Lucca. This morning we were out for our daily espresso and who walks by on his cellphone but Lorenzo Vignando. I turned around and followed him for a bit and then said Hi. I think he recognized me but couldnt quite figure out from where. I pointed up at my MIGHTY UKE cap. Ahhhh Tony. So he invites Marg and I along for some lunch. We get to talking about our doco about miniatures and he says, well that is funny, I have just finished making a video about my city Lucca, in miniature So here it is friends....https://youtube/watch?v=379b3ePCSLU Life is strange and wonderful!
