Below is Birgittas letter and great news article. Hello Gary and greetings from Finland. My name is Birgitta Kaikkonen and I am studying to become a scent dog handler/trainer here in Finland. The field of scent dog training is almost non-existent here and mostly populated by the government (police, customs and border patrol) and their narcotics and explosives detection dogs. There are two privet schools offering scent dog handler training and I am in the one where the target odor can be anything. The other installation offers only mold dog handler training. I have two dogs. My Australian kelpie has basic search dog training, which I have done before this actual school and now I have in training a friends little mixed breed as a bolatus mushroom dog. I have been given an assignment to compile information about the ways a handler contaminates a training area. I stumbled onto your excellent video on the matter and now just wish to know, if I may include it into my multimedia presentation at the school.
