It just hurts to see these places and not be there. Absolutely gorgeous! Culebra Island in Puerto Rico is number 27. In Culebra, a collection of islands, part of which is a federal natural reserve, you can be kayaking in the sea in crystal clear water over rocks at the bottom of the ocean and then realize they are not rocks. They are sea turtles that might just start swimming along too. Also sea turtles lay their eggs on the beaches at night. Volunteers try to protect the nests too. Oh, so, so, so homesick right now.
