It looks like the farm bill is finally going down and is doing so rapidly (meaning that legislators, let alone the public, is going to have little time to process whats in it). As one of our allies described the timeline in an email: POSSIBLE HOUSE FLOOR VOTE ON FB CONFERENCE REPORT - House Majority Leader Eric Cantors schedule for the week shows a possible House Floor vote on the Farm Bill conference report on Wednesday, Jan 29. That means a conference report must be completed 48 hours in advance, or tomorrow and before House Republicans leave for their annual retreat on Thursday and Friday. It also means we could possibly see the Farm Bill conference report and what is in the final farm bill as soon as tomorrow, or when it is filed for floor action. House Rules Committee meets on Monday at 5 PM and could consider a rule for the final farm bill vote).
