It looks like we were spared the frost. Thank you, Thank you. It gives us a chance to be a little more prepared for the cold weather. Beds can be arched with reinforcing wire, hoops or a framework like is demonstrated below with the floating row covers, then covered with clear plastic, or fabric row cover material. The plastic tends to cause it to get hot underneath if it is not removed before the sun hits it. The fabric is more forgiving. Sheets will even work. Plan what you are going to use and be prepared to cover your beds before the next frost or freeze warning.
