It makes me so happy to share that my sister Naomi Tawney is home from the hospital. She is doing much better. God has truly watched over her...the doctors said at one point that the clot was so big it was in both her lungs and should have killed her. The DOCTOR said, God must have been watching over you. I rejoice that we have a God who heals and that He chose to heal and protect my sister. Please continue to keep Naomi in your prayers. She has a long road of recovery ahead. For those of you who dont know, she was diagnosed with Guillian Barre Syndrome over the summer when she was unable to walk. The doctors have sice changed her diagnosis to Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Neuropathy (CIDP). Its basically a chronic form of GBS. The blood clots most likely formed as a result of her inability to walk and traveled up her legs, through her arteries and into her lungs. This is not uncommon for people with CIDP. She will Continue to undergo outpatient physical therapy. Please pray that her recovery would progress well and that she would regain the ability to walk. We are trusting the Lord for his continued healing and provision; He continues to prove Himself faithful in the life of my sister and her husband, Alex.
