It makes me very sad to hear the horrible things people are saying in regards to the Red Soxs win. I.e. statements about bombings, ect. I think we have forgotten what entertainment is in this country. We have forgotten that sports are just entertainment and in reality, have zero effects on our personal lives unless your work for those specific organizations. Otherwise, Its just another day. And frankly, if your day is ruined because your favorite team failed to score more points then the opposing team you should probably evaluate your priorities. We all have escapes from our current reality, some healthier than others. And, after investing a seasons worth of time in your team, disappointment is only natural. However, if you needed them to win to somehow help you feel better about your current situation, I encourage you to look at your life and see just how important this escape has become to you. I enjoy sports. I enjoy watching them, quite a bit actually. But let me remind you that Today is a gift and we are meant for so much more. Be blessed.
