It marries...all the Arts! That is why I love The Opera! Drama, fabrics, senses overwhelmed by color combinations, jewelry art, design, acting, choreography, orchestra, and of course my field...singing! Once my students did a study for 6 weeks of the Opera Unit...of glorious stories...starting with Puccini, a taste of Wagner....Jesus Christ Superstar and ending with Amahl and the Night Visitors at Christmas..they were with it! Then at the end of the year...I selected 80 of the finest students to make a trip to see an opera at The Metropolitan Opera in New York City! Those students are doctors, lawyers, teachers,and housewives...bu whatever profession those children became...I gave them a GIFT! Love for the opera! Music ...fine rich MUSIC...operatic music changes you...you BECOME.....engrossed into the BEAUTY...of senses as no other....Pequannock Valley Middle Board...thank you again for providing that money to take my students on a trip....to The Met! They were CHANGED! CHARGED! CONVINCED! My case... Closed ! YES! Smiling as I remember their beautiful faces!!!
