It may be the Big Day - but the information many thousands of desperately sick people, with desperately sick partners and children, were hoping to see presented today has been embargoed... Friend One, a single mother of four, learned today she is being referred to Children’s Services because the school is convinced her 5 year old daughter is withdrawing socially because she is sad her mother is sick. Never mind the mother’s three older children have ASD and her daughter has begun to exhibit classic signs as well. Never mind that all of the children excel in their studies, are happy, well fed and well mannered. Never mind any of that. All the school is seeing is a mother who claims she is sick with M.E., which Sir Simon Wessley says is all in the head, you know.
