It might just be me but now that the new dispensation is completing six months in office, I do feel as a nation we have been able better one thing that we could not really do well until now: humour. Not only in terms of mythology/history but even in sciences, development policies, tall pre-poll promises, how we view the speeches our leaders make, cartoons and protests, and how social media responds given that some regular media feels a bit ummm about day-to-day happenings. Not bad, I say! As they say in Punjabi after cracking up on a good joke: paiiya khoon wad gaya (our quantum of blood has increased).
