It might not be Thursday, but heres a throwback anyway. A set up were very proud to call Cara Designed! Located on the edge of Billinge, overlooking rural countryside, the kitchen and utility areas for this project had to compliment the Crook Oak Beam style. We worked with a small space to create an island which was the main focus for activity, used for things like food prep/ cooking and storage etc. This was complimented by a bank of midi appliance housings to keep all functions within easy reach. The position of the beam supports were designed to frame the midi appliances, with a letterbox window allowing a wash of light to spill into the kitchen. The L-shaped section in the corner of the room houses the dishwasher and the sink area, featuring a Quooker Hot Water Tap alongside a Siemens Coffee Centre. The Utility Room was to mirror the style of the kitchen whilst serving the functionality of a Utility Area. A mixture of free standing laundry appliances and storage cupboards with a Rangemaster Beverage Center for convenience on social occasions.
