It never ceases to amaze me how CLEAN Kailua Beach stays despite the hundreds if not thousands of patrons any given day. A combination of people cleaning up after themselves along with the many community volunteers collecting the remnants makes this possible. During my beach run today I found 6 small pieces of litter.....all plastics. All of them were pieces returned to the beach by the ocean. For anyone walking or running this is a quick and efficient way to make a difference along your path. I collected some more near the canal and bridge and put them in the nearby trash cans. Malias site at Flagpoles looked beeee-u-t-full and it was nice seeing Joey drive by and wave as she was leaving Lanikai! Have a nice evening everyone!
