It never ceases to amaze me how fast some people can become self absorbed and have notions of entitlement in regards to me and the radio station.This afternoon, I had a friend message me after a contest and essentially accuse me of cheating because she didnt win. I told her who did win, she asked why I didnt announce it. I explained I wasnt on air right then, but our winner promo would start airing a little later. She told me she was through with the radio station and promptly unfriended me. Ive never been anything less than respectful to her, played innumerable requests, and treated her with friendship in public. For the record, Im a play by rules kind of guy with our radio contests, I truly want everyone to win, particularly loyal listeners,(hell, its not my money, I just have the privilege of giving it away). I understand disappointment, but rudeness from someone youve been kind to is a bitter pill. For those of you who hang with me for friendship and Rock-N-Roll, not what I can give you, thanks, and God Bless.
