It only take one person making an irresponsible comment about a dog to taint that dogs ability to receive unbiased opportunities for placement/adoption. Such is the case in front of you. Hayla is a TERRIFIC dog that had the unfortunate occasion to be in a very dog-crowded environment, not spayed and a person of dubious character doing something that she did not like. She went after the guy but did not inflict any damage to him. Out of that incident, gossip and innuendo arose, from people who had no first hand knowledge or interaction with this dog. She has been crated for months, because of that incorrect assessment attached to her. I have personally interacted with this dog on several occasions, including the night she was rescued. She has been nothing short of wonderful, and I had no concerns regarding her behavior or disposition.. She is now in an environment where she is able to shine, and her true colors are being prominently displayed. This girl plays well, she gets along fine with other dogs and children. She LOVES life and shares that with the people she is interacting with. Hayla has been spayed, is up to date on her vaccines and is housebroken. She does very well in a crate and is as gentle as can be. This girl is Heartworm positive but her treatment/fees are being sponsored and will cost a prospective adopter nothing. She needs a calm/quiet environment to rest in, while she receives her treatment. If you are looking for a gorgeous, unique appearance, combined with a friendly and very smart personality, look no further. Hayla would fit in well in any family setting.
