After giving him directions, she observed him walk away from her home in the totally opposite direction." Her next move would prove to be decisive. By calling 911, several units responded and located this man walking on Central Ave. His story was evasive and his pockets appeared to be stuffed with personal property. During the initial inquiry, officers discovered that this man had an active felony arrest warrant for receiving stolen property in Boston. He was arrested and officers recovered thousands of dollars in Italian currency on his person as well as other assorted stolen personal property. Subsequent investigation confirmed him as the man who had approached the female resident. Officers also determined during this investigation, that this man had broken into a home in the 200 block of Central Ave. This home in close proximity to the initial victims home.
