It pisses me off that Americans can actually politicize the legal process, more specifically, guilt. If you are a Dem, you think Trevon is innocent. If you are a Republican you think Zimmerman was acting in self-defense. If you are black, Zimmerman is guilty. If you are white, he’s innocent. If you are on FOX, the Defense had “excellent” arguments. If you are on CNN, the prosecutor did “an excellent job in closing.” Did we learn nothing with OJ Simpson? His blood, on a glove, on his shoes, a runaway Bronco, and a suicide attempt…..and he STILL was found not guilty. Let’s not even talk about Casey Anthony. Move over Nancy Grace, because my panties are in a wad. If Zimmerman is acquitted, because of a SHRED of reasonable doubt, and we have race riots in this country, I will blame every single reporter with a hard-on for this story. I think there should be a law passed that NO TV reporters can enter into a courtroom during trial. If people want to know what went on, let them go buy the transcript at the courthouse. In addition, why is it that the polls show that 98% of African Americans believe Zimmerman is guilty, while almost the same numbers of White Americans believe that he’s innocent? Can you not see how we, by politicizing our legal system, can never get a fair and accurate report of the facts? In a radio interview prior to the trial, Trevon’s brother said he was not sure that the screaming voice was his brothers. Then in court, he changed his mind. By having this on the radio in an interview, America was told one thing, and then found out a different story later. This only creates confusion, and dissent. No one can really get the facts of this case because the media will politicize it to death for ratings. Is America this stupid? Guess so. I think it is a shame that a kid had to die for Kraft to sell Mac and Cheese on FOX. In addition, I would also think it would be sad that a man spends the rest of his life in jail so that Nissan could sell a car on CNN. Can we just all agree that guilty or not, a violent reaction to violence makes no sense. I hope that we are not dealing with mass chaos next week. That is all. Discuss.
