It really bothers me when people complain about vets not doing any charity work for their pet because they cant afford whatever the issue may be. They are offended when you suggest that they should work for free in whatever line of work they do but yet somehow they think the vet should do it just because their pet is special. I had a lady say that a vet should be charged with animal cruelty because he wouldnt treat her grown daughters dog without payment or payment arrangements. She didnt have any money because she had spent it all on the cost at the breeders! The lady was horrified that I suggested she help her daughter by putting it on her credit card. She also thought the shelter should pony up too.
