It s a beautiful day in Friday Harbor. Yesterdays rain has given way to sunshine if not a chill in the air. I am blessed to be here. Content in my truth and able to let go of things that no longer serve me. Acceptance means we can hold our head high in the things we cannot change and show wisdom in all that we have learned. Grace is easy like Sunday morning. It loves and lifts. It rises to the top when fear tries to hold us down. So many people walk around with a hole in their soul. The walking wounded, silent in their pain, lost in their grief. Wholeness can only happen when you see all the good in the bad. Love is such a rare thing. It is the one thing that binds us together and heals us when nothing else can. Forgiveness frees us not from the sinner, but for the sin. Judgment when no stones should be cast. I liken to say that we have all had a meet and greet with wrong doing, both in doing as well as being done in when we least expect. No good can come from holding onto revenge. You are the lesser for it. A weak person must have revenge. better to be a wise person and keep your head up when others would bring you down. There is nothing to see here. Move along.... Love done well is seldom wrong. It is the only right thing we have in this life. I can sill love those that have done wrong to me. I can only hope they will love me because I am fatally flawed in the humanity of me. There is no recovery for being human. All of us are guilty one way or another.. Laying down things that are too heavy to carry. Letting love be the covering over all that I do and say.. Im just sayin...
