It saddens me to see so many pros advocating such restrictive eating patterns & bingeing cycles. Posting up a detailed list of the 37 types of junk food you consumed over a weekend or plan to smash after your show & suggesting that its ok to take a break from your diet in this manner every once in a while is hardly promoting a healthy relationship with food. Im all for sustainable dietary approaches & the occasional day or time period away from tracking your macros (again - this is largely down to the progress youre hoping to achieve), but challenging yourself on a public forum to openly consume as many calories as possible & suggesting that others do the same is nothing short of irresponsible. It seems laughable that some go as far as ostracizing & even criticizing flexible dieters for choosing to eat certain foods (processed ones in particular) as they arent going to be optimal for your body or your training in the long run - yet these are the foods they have also just listed as part of their diet break or post-comp reward feast. Sure - that makes complete sense, bro. Notsrs. It makes no sense.
