It seems almost no one, on either politically contrived side, - TopicsExpress

It seems almost no one, on either politically contrived side, speaks of rent seekers, landlordism (under neo-feudalism), land rents, debt economies, quantitative easing, the petro dollar, debt based securities, speculators, subsidies, foreign aid to corrupt and brutal regimes, automation, sophisticated financial Ponzi schemes, TARP/bailouts, corporatism, monopolization of the financial sector, artificial inflation, peaking resources, blatant cronyism, our current fiat currency, inequitable trade agreements, easy credit, structural violence, debt based fueled consumerism, and the ever increasing cost of our empire, when speaking of the ever growing wealth gap and overall debt in this country. Nope, somehow neither contrived sides has made any connection to our ever growing wealth gap and overall debt, and the things mentioned above. Rather, it seems that one contrived side just wants to blame the wealthy, capitalism, and so-called conservatives, while the other just wants to blame the poor, socialism, and so-called liberals. I guess it is just easier to find scapegoats than to actually understand and discuss the root problems that are actually causing this ever growing wealth gap in this country. ~Andrew
