It seems like a lifetime ago yet it also seems like yesterday. Eleven years ago about this time, Jacob was being loaded into an ambulance out of the pasture. He would be on a helicopter, on his way to Cooks, soon fighting for his life. Oh what a journey it has been... Jacob has amazed everyone from doctors to therapists in his recovery. From watching him code and have a machine breathe for him to relearning daily activities, he has far surpassed all expectations. Now he is a 17 year old young man who is about to start his Senior year in high school. I cant wait to see what the future holds. Well, actually I can. I am blessed with everyday and do not want to rush it. God is so good!
