It seems like this city is trying to make some money and denied the church group who was feeding the homeless a chance to feed the homeless some biscuits and coffee at the intersection and make this group pay for spot in the downtown park for $800.00 a day which a lot of religious group do not have. It seems like the people trying to help out the homeless were being singled out because of there religious convictions and to tell this group they must apply for spot in the downtown park for 800 dollars a day is stupid and dumb. Raleigh needs to have cop that enforce the laws and this is one law that needs to be appealed because it is very stupid and does not make any sense when you could not tell the group,why they could not give away their biscuits and coffee and if they were blocking an intersection the people that own or leased a business would not want want them blocking their business at all. These people should have had a place to distribute their food to needy without having to worry about being arrested by the cops. The cops and the city should have a provide the group with information on a place where this group could have still served the needs of the people of the area without going to jail and without making a new story out of it by telling this group either him or her on what laws were broken by this group if this was just passed or has been already on the book was not enforce at all. I tend to believe this group did not know about the new law and should have given a pass instead of having a cop enforcing the law by saying you are going to jail. The cop would have arrested a girl from selling lemonade to customers in her front lawn as well. These people were doing the work the Jesus and our God in Heaven and they should be applauded.
