It seems like yesterday my best friend and I would spend endless hours listening to our albums (yes, Im that old:)). Active listening. Hearing every word, every note, each strum of the guitars, and beat of the drums. The music seemed to become us and we, the music. Not much of that kind of listening any more, I dont think. There should be. Like a perfect meal, glass of wine, or a lingering kiss, music should be savored. A wonderful, though temporary journey to another place and time. I ramble...back to the music.
