It seems pretty obvious that Trevor Henry is going to be a force - TopicsExpress

It seems pretty obvious that Trevor Henry is going to be a force on WEG going forward. He won 4 last night, and he always has won his share and at times been very dominant at places like Western Fair, Clinton, Hanover and Grand River, and even at times at Flamboro when he shows up steady. So, now that he is on the scene, and he is already connected with many of those B track guys who will put him down as first call because they trust him and know him, who are the drivers who are going to win less? Fillion for sure. Moreau already used Trevor as first call at every B track, and even on a few at WEG. Now, Trevor seems to be getting his fair share of Moreau horses on WEG too. Fillion has been an underperformer all year this year, and in the last two or three months, his percentage is way down. I see that only getting more dramatic now. Mcnair and Saftic are two other guys that he is taking power away from. More Saftic than McNair, but both and you can see their live drives also both fading away. To some extent, MacDonnell as well, but since he is hooked up with Nixon and Bax, he still has lots of power. If Byron also keeps winning though, that might also affect MacDonnell. He hasnt seemed hungry anymore for a while, and maybe he just starts to wind down as a driver and become more of a trainer. A bunch of other guys, who usually pick up the scraps are down as well. So, that has to be considered as bettors. The only 4 that likely wont be affected are CC, Randy, Jody and J Mac. They are all well established and still win at a consistent rate. Randy has Johnson and Macintosh and J Mac is in with a bunch of guys and produces. CC and Jody produce night in, night out, so they also wont likely be effected. McNair for sure will be. I see his percentage taking a huge hit. That sort of thing snowballs, like it did to Kerwood a few years ago. Just my two cents. Trevor has to be considered, and I think the prices on many of his horses are still big overlays.
