It seems that if someone says something innocuous about a black, - TopicsExpress

It seems that if someone says something innocuous about a black, the “black community” and the liberal press rise up and demand that that person be cast into outer darkness. The blacks organize protests and stand behind Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton to denounce the offender, all of which is given attention by the national media. Blacks, on the other hand, can say anything they want about a white person and he has to take it. My first thought about this was they were catered to because they had political clout. But they represent only about 13% of the population of this country and in no state do they have anything like a majority. Unlike whites, they vote in a liberal block. I think Obama got 99% of their votes. The 1% who didn’t vote for him must have pulled the wrong lever by mistake. But that can’t account for the deference they’re getting. So why all the concern about offending blacks? Why do ! people even listen to the likes of Al Sharpton who is a commentator on MSNBC where he is allowed to voice his hatred of whites? This is the man who took up the cause of Tawana Brawley, a 15 year old black girl who was found in an alley covered with dog feces and who claimed to have been raped by some white men. It was all a hoax, but Sharpton accused a New York prosecutor of having been involved. He was awarded a judgment against Sharpton and Brawley for defamation; a judgment Sharpton has never paid. The point of all this is that people like Sharpton can denounce whites and the liberal media eat it up. Since their voting edge isn’t that great, how do they get away with it? Perhaps people are giving them a pass because their ancestors were once slaves. If so, the blacks are now pushing too far. I’m tired of it. It’s time to move on. As Archie Bunker said: “I want to go to a place where the minorities don’t outnumber the majority.”
