It seems that the lessons drawn from Rwandan genocide, especially for people of countries like CAR, Syria, South Sudan, are that genocide will go on, the world will do nothing, and your only hope is that your side wins the conflict. Twenty years later you will get a chance to pose for a photo with the killer of your family to be published in NYT, to illustrate the success of the process of reconciliation in your country and soothe the conscience of the worlds decision makers who stood by then and continue to do so today.
