It seems that the more responsibility society places in ones hands, the more likely one is to abuse or otherwise neglect that responsibly. Yet there are also individual who strive to adhere to a certain level of social responsibility, and contribute to societys functionality, and the more it spend time with clients, the more I see individuals suffering from chronic illness, I realize that too many of us go into the field of health care for the wrong reasons. Yes, this is a pretty bold statement, but frankly, some of us really do it for the absolute worst reasons. This being said, it should be notes that many of us are conditioned to enter healthcare and medicine by standards that lead us to believe in these falsely founded reasons, hence the blame is not entirely upon those people. If you are going into healthcare to finically stable, because human biology interests you, or because your family is along line of practitioners, then you may be thoroughly disappointed when you realize that these factors alone wont fuel an individual through the course of theyre career. Yes, finical stability is important, interest in biology is good, and having a family background of medicine or healthcare is fine. However, one day youll make your first hundred thousand dollars, strong interests other then biology will arise, and your familys history wont be as relevant as your own lifes path, and then there will be little additional reason to proceed within the healthcare field. Ideally, an individual underlying core reasons for entering the health care field should be derived from a significantly greater level and depth of interest than that which society will dictate is necessary. If not, then maintaining motivation will be taxing beyond what one can hope to address.
