It seems to me that the new City Council is attempting to repeal - TopicsExpress

It seems to me that the new City Council is attempting to repeal the PLASTIC BAG BAN that was voted in in 2014 by a City Council that may have forced it through in a year where we celebrated a 100 Years of being known as Surf City when George Freeth came down on the Red Train with Henry Huntington to ride the first waves ridden at the new concrete pier which has become the citys major asset. But in saying that whos going to tell me that its a bad thing that this BAG BAN passed, at least weve had some environmental conscious in a time when the CITY is going through this huge transformation with PACIFIC CITY in full construction and condo/apartment complexes it seems on every major street, theyre going up all over town that will increase our population substantially. Just what we need more PLASTIC BAGS from all the new residents trashing all over town. Dont you think theres some more pressing issues the new City Council should be facing? Like where are we going to find a Parking Space at the beach, HBs greatest asset where the locals these days cant even get a spot to enjoy one of the main reasons we love to live here! I buy an Annual Pass to enjoy the beach(So you dont have to pay the $15.00 daily Summer extortion fee) and the waves and on many days these days you cant even get in the parking lots! JUST SAYING! See you at CITY HALL Tuesday night @ 6p.m.
