It seems to translate to something like THIS in English --- Iluvatar accurately summarizes what we understand as a cult band. Born in the nineties to forward the so-called progressive neo rock, at the time the group works fine bill was dispatched, like its namesake 1993 or Children 1996. However, never managed a clear recognition, and the release A Story Two Days Wide 1999 was hardly ever heard about them. That is until now, as after a slumber of 15 years, returning us to Iluvatar surprising musical activity, return almost without notice, which are specified under the name of From The Silence, the new work by Americans. It may have been over a decade since the group of Baltimore has not edited just one minute of music, but time seems to have left its mark on Iluvatar. This is because in From The Silence the band sounds as enthusiastic and energetic as they did in the nineties, and especially because musically, the album is a projection of what the group did then; just listen to Resolution to comprise the set remains the same who was responsible for real gems as Exodus. Thats From The Silence neo progressive in its pure form. The disc is divided into plates quite keyboards and heirs to the tradition of David Gilmour and Steve Rothery guitar. Intensity changes also mark the presence, as in the aforementioned Resolution, which wanders between moments of rock cut and other more environmental; or Across the coals which party plan ballad and in the second half, gradually increases the pulsations. One of the highlights of the album themes. Anyway, the band dares to move to other frequencies, as in Le Moo-Moo Ungaire instrumental, a surprisingly dark theme and is reminiscent of King Crimson 70, or Favorite Son, a song that mixes a fogatero sound subtle synth patches. Older Now appeals to privacy and minimalism, the opposite of bombastic Until, an intense topic, noted for their breaks and a successful presence of bronzes in his last minutes. Expanding the spectrum a bit, From The Silence leaves a pleasant taste than mouth. The album gets better with each pass, and although not a great music brings an air of reinvention or reform makes clear that Iluvatar still has interesting things to say, despite having spent 15 years without releasing music. Hopefully you have no waiting time for such a band again studies.
