It still baffles me, why the tragic events of the killing of the 34 Lonmin workers two years ago to this day, gets such an outpouring of grief, yet the killing of the police and other workers-10 in all- preceding that tragedy, does not enjoy the same sympathy with the media and social commentators. Could it be that our government, regardless of the massive support it has in the society, is held in total contempt by celebrity commentators, even though the majority supports it. We need dialogue to understand why the minority view seems to dominate the media, which stifles the majority view.
