It sucks when your dog barks so much, and at everyone, that people say shes terrorizing the neighbors while they walk by, the children playing, and people tending to the grounds. Only had one noise complaint when I left the window in my bedroom open, but apparently shes a bigger nuisance than I thought she was (and believe me I knew she was a nuisance) Its what dogs do, right? Shes made progress with men in general in my apartment, but shes not nearly reformed, and I cant control what she does when Im not here. I knew she barked when she saw other dogs and when someone slams their door, but Ive never seen her bark at kids playing. From what Ive seen, I can try leaving a battery radio on a talk show (the ambient noise/static helps soothe dogs), use a muzzle designed for barking, a shock collar, or just ignore it. The latter is not truly an option. I will be leaving my patio door and bedroom window closed with the blinds drawn. I must keep her from barking at all when Im here to mitigate her barking as much as I can when Im not. Anyone got any tips?
