It sure is a lovely view from our Emeryville camera right now! Our radar on Mt. St. Helena @LiveDoppler7HD is tracking some heavy rain from the Peninsula to the East Bay right now & scattered showers in the North Bay. Drive safely tonight if you have to hit the roads & dont forget the umbrellas. SFO is reporting arrival delays of almost 3 hours if youre expecting someone. Theres a slight chance of thunder. The showers will continue into Saturday morning with the highest totals in the mountains. A few inches of snows expected above 8,000 in the Sierra. You do get a break in the rain to get out & do your holiday shopping or run errands between 1pm Saturday & 3pm Sunday. The next system will bring light rain to the North Bay by 3/4pm Sunday but theres a better likelihood of seeing slick roads everywhere Sunday night. The showers taper Monday morning. A much stronger storm hits us with rain, wind & maybe thunder between Wednesday night & Friday of next week. If youre going to check out the action at O. Co. Sunday when the Niners play the Raiders, it will be dry & mild. Have a great time!
