It takes a certain level of blatant mental immaturity to bow down to an idol, and call it your higher power. Especially for you sons of Ysrael that refuse to accept your own identity, at this point in our history you should know better. Relatively speaking, we nearly just got out of slavery, and you guys are already rejecting Yahuweh the Most High Power, and claiming to be Gods! What good is it doing you to claim that you are a God? Are you really that mentally weak that you feel the need to claim God status, in order to have self esteem? We need to squash this behavior right now, and turn back to the Most High who made us. In order to have a loving relationship with anyone, you must be doing some type of good deed towards them. If your idea of serving your power is serving yourself by doing only the things you desire or see fit, then youre just being selfish anyway. Imagine saying you love your friend, yet you dont do anything for them. Rejecting Yahuweh, and claiming some ambiguous power, is just an easy way for you to be selfish and not love the living Power who made you! If he was hungry he would not tell you, the world is his and all that fills it. The only way you can love him is by keeping his commandments, he is not asking much of you. What is he asking of you but to respect his oath that he made between you and him, to love him with all of your heart, and with all of your soul, and with all of your strength? Though you have forgotten about him, he will never forget about you, nor will he break his oath. Return to him and he will return to you Ysrael, its not too late. You can put down your idols, you can stop your misbehavior. I am not here to condemn you, Im just letting you know about your options. The choice is yours whether you will love Yahuweh who has loved you, and justly punished you for your transgressions. Or whether you will despise him who has loved you, and continue to turn away from him. Why do you reject the one who has loved you, he even sent the ruler of his armies, his set apart son, Yahushua the Messiah, his right hand for your sake. Do not be like your fathers who had him hung on the tree. And if you must wrestle with him, then do so as your father Yakub/Jacob who overcame, and let your striving be with weeping and seek his favour. Zechariah 1:3 “Thus said YHWH of armies, “Turn back to Me,” declares YHWH of armies, “and I shall turn back to you,” declares YHWH of armies. Zec 1:4 “Do not be like your fathers, to whom the former prophets proclaimed, saying, ‘Thus said YHWH of armies, “Turn back now from your evil ways and your evil deeds.” ’ But they did not obey or give heed to Me,” declares YHWH. Zec 1:5 “Your fathers, where are they? And the prophets, do they live forever? Zec 1:6 “But My words and My laws, which I commanded My servants the prophets, did they not overtake your fathers?” “Then they turned back and said, ‘As YHWH of armies planned to do to us, according to our ways and according to our deeds, so He has done with us.’ ” ’ ” Isa 44:8 ‘Do not fear, nor be afraid. Have I not since made you hear, and declared it? You are My witnesses. Is there an Eloah besides Me? There is no other Rock, I know not one.’ ” Isa 44:9 Those who make an idol, all of them are emptiness, and their delights do not profit. And they are their own witnesses; they neither see nor know, so that they are put to shame. Isa 44:10 Who would form a mighty one or cast an idol that is of no value? Isa 44:11 See, all his companions are ashamed, and the workmen, they are but men. Let them all be gathered together, let them stand up, let them fear, let them be put to shame, altogether. Isa 44:12 The craftsman in iron with the tools works one in the coals, and fashions it with hammers, and works it with the strength of his arms. Even so, he shall be hungry, and has no strength; he drinks no water and is weary. Isa 44:13 The carpenter stretches out his rule, he outlines it with chalk; he fashions it with a plane, and he outlines it with the compass, and makes it like the figure of a man, according to the comeliness of a man, to remain in the house. Isa 44:14 He cuts down cedars for himself, and takes cypress and oak, which he raised among the trees of the forest. He has planted a pine, and the rain nourishes it. Isa 44:15 And it shall be for a man to burn, for he takes some of it and warms himself. He also kindles it and shall bake bread. He also makes a mighty one and bows himself to it – has made it a carved image and falls down before it. Isa 44:16 Half of it he shall burn in the fire; with this half he eats meat. He roasts a roast, and is satisfied. He also warms himself and says, “Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire.” Isa 44:17 And the rest of it he makes into a mighty one, his carved image. He falls down before it and worships, prays to it and says, “Deliver me, for you are my power.” Isa 44:18 They do not know nor understand, for He has smeared their eyes from seeing, and their hearts from understanding. Isa 44:19 And no one recalls it to his heart, nor is there knowledge nor understanding to say, “I have burned half of it in the fire, and I have also baked bread on its coals; I have roasted meat and eaten it. And shall I make the rest of it an abomination? Should I fall down before a log of wood?” Isa 44:20 Feeding on ashes, a deceived heart turns him aside, and he does not deliver his being, nor says, “Is there not a lie in my right hand?” Isa 44:21 “Remember these matters, O Yaʽaqoḇ, and Yisra’ĕl, for you are My servant! I have formed you, you are My servant, O Yisra’ĕl, do not forget Me! Isa 44:22 “I shall wipe out your transgressions like a cloud, and your sins like a mist. Return to Me, for I shall redeem you.”
