It takes a lot of juggling, and a ton of work and time to book bands. At the Tourist Inn we have commited ourselves to working endlessly to bring central Pa. the very BEST in live entertainment. We are also commited to being completely professional with bands and their management. We have also made a commitment to doing everything we said we would do when we made our business arrangement with either the band rep or their management. We also ask that the bands and their representation do the same. We will never cancel your band to book another act. Believe me when I say that we have had major chances with big acts that we had to turn down because of commitments to local acts. So if a band books with us and then cancels a few weeks before their gig to take another gig, that is not only unprofessional to us at the club, but also to any potential band that may have had a chance to play here. We do most of our booking with a hand shake and so far its been great. I just wanted bands and their reps to know that I can not guarantee work for them or you in the future if this happens. We will work our collective rear ends off for the live music scene....we only ask the same.
