It takes a lot of strength and courage to advocate everyday especially for those of us like me who are fighting for our loved ones freedom. We somehow develop a hard shell against the negativity the hurtful comments and those that are quick to pass the guilty card. I started to believe in the innocence of every one that I have found who are also fighting a wrongful conviction. The amount of effort and time put into finding help and sharing these cases are unbelievable it is a lot of hard work. I understand that there will always be those that question guilt or innocence. I always try to encourage questions and try to answer whatever I can. I realize that a huge part of determining if someone is innocent is to question if they are guilty too. Over time I’ve learned to look at it in the sense that at least those people that are asking questions are thinking about the case. That doesn’t mean that I don’t get frustrated from time to time and want to scream at the top of my lungs that Dylan is innocent or I would not be here everyday fighting for his freedom. Instead I’d rather take the time to answer all questions that I can and to explain why I believe in innocence so that together we all can scream Free Dylan!
