It takes a special person who can bring together family and friends to celebrate life. It takes a remarkable person with a determination to fight back and the will to make it happen. At Relay, teams range in size from 4 to 10 members. Each team is made up of dedicated individuals with the same goal in mind – working towards eradicating cancer. Gather family, friends, and co-workers who share your hope for a world with less cancer and more birthdays. To register a team, Team Captains can register online at relayforlife.ca/kincardine. The cost to register is $10 per person. Once registered as a Team Captain you will receive a team captain’s kit containing offline registration forms, pledge sheets, and survivor & luminary forms. As you invite members to join your team of cancer fighters, team members will be able to register online or offline. Once registered, it’s about having fun and sharing your excitement. Fundraise as individuals and fundraise as a team! The online tools make it easier to ask for donations – allowing friends and family to support you by pledging online. If you are fundraising offline, share it with us. We can post it on Facebook. For donors who pledge $20 or more a tax receipt will be mailed to them from the Canadian Cancer Society. Kincardine Relay For Life is a community event. We come together for one night each year, as strangers and acquaintances and leave as friends. We spend 12 hours together around a track CELEBRATING survivorship, REMEMBERING the battles lost, and determined to FIGHT BACK against cancer. We invite you to join us, as a team captain or team member, to share this night with the Survivors in your life.
