It took me FOREVER to find this film (possibly the hardest post-1970 Best Picture nominee to find), and it didnt let me down. Its not perfect--Paul Mazurskys films tend to be so perfectly reflective of their times that they dont age well, although this holds up for the most part--but Jill Clayburghs performance is simply wonderful. Smart, subtle, and sympathetic, she won a deserved award at Cannes (the Academy, however, opted for Jane Fonda). If you can find it, its worth a look, especially if youre into 70s cinema. 85/100
