It turns out that Im only mostly not afraid of heights - my non-fear pertained to flat heights, not sloped ones, which I didnt realize until I got back up on a roof today for the first time in 15 years. (I was also remembering with annoyance my younger days when I walked all over roofs and high tree limbs and would just laugh while doing it.) The purpose of this elevated excursion was for band-aid waterproofing / painting some water-damaged siding. Thus I can now put off replacing the siding until next year instead of having to do it before winter sets in.
