It turns out that all of my agonizing about my sons life was for nothing. I couldnt be more impressed by him as a human being than what I am at the moment, and thats because I just love what he has to say about how he views the world when he opens up. I have judged him too harshly in the past- he is an incredible human being. I have so much belief that he is going to do just fine in the US. He is much more intelligent than I ever realized- I always knew that he was very bright, but I guess I didnt quite know that he would turn out to be such a rational, and hence compassionate, person. I always reminded myself that there was lots of hope, but I didnt quite know for sure. He knows HOW to think! Despite societys best efforts- hahaha :p.
