It was 15 degrees before the wind chill with moderate snow falling, and I went out for a 5K run. It was a challenge to figure out how to dress, but my choices of layers had me staying toasty the whole time without the chill of sweating in the cold air. (Im sure my choice of layers also provided some laughs for the neighbors.) Roads were snow covered, so I wore my snow tires. It made for a slow and arduous run, but its done, and Im so glad I went! I actually smiled when I reached the end. My legs are going to be feeling it in the morning, so Ill need to remember that smile when get out of bed and feel the burn.
