It was Labor Day weekend and I certainly labored: 1 hour in stop and go traffic- just to get to the other side of Balboa, 45 minutes vainly looking for parking after I had downloaded the equipment at the location, and 10 minutes of rushed set-up (never did find parking-I went back to set up and the client THANKFULLY let me park in front of their garage) that left me soaked to the bone. The clients were nice enough (but their politics were hard to stomach) and the event SEEMED a success, but man oh man oh freaking man, it was a steel boot kick to the heart getting there. I did my job and that makes three successful gigs this Labor Day weekend. Its not much, but its all I got...
