It was a REALLY long day today! At the airport in Fresno at 5am for a 7am flight. Flew into Dallas, where we were supposed to have a layover of an hour and a half, but the plane was late, and then we had to wait another couple hours for a mechanic to come and duct tape the wing back on or something... They must have fixed it, because it got us from Dallas to Knoxville, Tennessee. We rented a car in Knoxville, and had a wrong turn adventure that took us through the back roads (insert banjo music here) into Pigeon Forge, and then into Gatlinburg where we were originally headed. Were going back to Pigeon Forge tomorrow! The place is AMAZING!! Hard to describe, but it has the glitz of the Vegas strip, the entertainment of Disneyland, and more restaurants than you can imagine! Old town Gatlinburg is also a really cool place, with antique stores and all sorts of stuff. Tomorrow looks like a fun day, starting at the log cabin pancake house across the street!
