It was a banner day today, other than the Zumba fiasco... Started out when Britny asked if she could borrow my revolver. Of course, despite my curiosity, I said, Sure! She then proceeded to cross the yard and unload a 150grains of JHP into a huge banana spider which had apparently stuck its tongue out at her or done some other act to offend her. Its guts splattered over a six foot radius and she walked back towards the truck like a boss! Then later, we took a drive through the Citrus WMA, our new back yard, and spotted a young buck, two trophy gobblers and a panther! Yes we did too... It was awesome! Fact is, it is only the third time in all my many years in the outdoors to ever encounter one in the wild. And before yall get uppity about her taking out her orneriness on that spider; there is a ten foot high embankment behind that spiders web, so not only was it a damn good shot, but it was reasonably safe as well!
