It was a beautiful day to go fishing out of Sweetwater Marina in Delacroix. Most anglers today fished on the outside. I’ve gotten word from one crew who fished in Breton Sound area they ended boxing 25 trout and a couple reds. One of the guides who fished the outside today boxed 65 trout and a limit of bull reds. A few anglers stayed on the inside catching a variety of fish such as redfish, drum, and flounders. Some anglers did better than others today, but overall today fishing was pretty decent. Its Memorial Day weekend so come out an enjoy it fishing out of Sweetwater in Delacroix. Were pretty much booked on rooms for the next coming weekends, but there is a room open the 26th and 27th. There are opening days for charters and rooms in June and are now starting to book for July. A small deposit will secure your date. We still have gift certificates available here at Sweetwater for your hunter or fisherman/woman in your life. We’re a full service marina and offer to drop and pick your boat up in and out the water, as well as valet your vehicle and we have a golf cart to transport u back and forth to your vehicle.
