It was a beautiful weekend in Toronto! Jay had some visitors on Friday, John & Dawn. Thanks guys, he enjoyed having you here. On Saturday I brought in some Harveys take out. He has trouble stretching his mouth that big, so he squished the burger! Had to take small bites, but he managed it! Yesterday was the best yet. I took him out to walmart for some clothes that werent just pjs, and he wandered around the store, leaning on the cart for about an hour. We went for a short drive, then brought him back to the apartment for take out Chinese food (a place called Cest Bon - best Ive ever had). By that time he was pretty tired out, so a nap on the couch, then we went for ice cream before getting him back to the hospital. What a day! Hes still re-learning things like his to do stairs, and his hands are still swollen, but his recovery pace is great!
