It was a bittersweet day for CCR...this morning both Shaun and Tom headed to Seattle to remove the cameras they have maintained for the past 10 years for the WDFW Kiwanis Heron Rookery; unfortunately the herons didnt return after all these years. However, on the way home, Tom was able to sweeten the day by rescuing Cedar-Kitty from a cedar tree in Olympia. Cedar, who had been missing for 3 days and assumed taken by a coyote, was luckily found crying for help in the neighbors tree today. He was happy to see Tom and was even more happy to be reunited with his family. Theres a short video of the rescue on our YouTube page; link posted below.
