It was a busy night for Oscoda Basketball. Our 7th and 8th graders traveled to Whittemore, and both teams came away with wins. The 7th grade is now 10-0, and the 8th grade is now 9-1. The varsity and jv teams also played tonight. Both teams defeated Hale this evening. The jv team won by a score of 41 to 29. Leading scorers were Joe Walls with 14 points, Jean Church with 10, Grant Huebel with 6, Travis Lamrock with 6, Nathan Nagel with 3, and Wyatt Livvix with 2 points. The jv record now stands at 2-0. The varsity team also improved their record to 2-0 tonight by a score of 41 to 27. Leading scorers were Kyle Charters with 10 points, Brad Curley with 10, Brandon Bissonette with 9, Jacob Pike with 6, Brad Gresens with 4, and Dashaun Thomas with 2. We would also like to thank our crowd tonight! We had a great turnout for a Thursday night game! The band, and cheerleaders were awesome, and overall it was a great atmosphere. Go Owls!
