It was a cuss out wkend...after going off on the people at Best Buy on Friday, took Tater to the park yesterday...got bombarded by 3 dogs at the gate...finally get her in, & Tater mustve snapped at the big one saying Hey! Let me in all the way! and they started fighting. The big one was closest so I grabbed him & hollered come get your dog! and then I could reach Tater & grabbed her and the big dog is jumping all on me trying to get her, theyre still fighting and Im screaming COME GET YOUR DAMN DOG!!! FINALLY the dude came...but by then, Im totally winded...COPDed out...beyond not breathing, in the I may be having a heart attach cuz my lungs cant give my heart oxygen! Im crumpled on the ground and NO ONE came to help me out! I was so hurt...& still telling the dude WHY didnt you get your dog??? Finally, when I could get up, we left. I just cried to Cubby when he came home...a dog will be a dog & I wasnt mad about that...but NO ONE CAME TO HELP! The jerk guy didnt get his dog, no one came to me offering assistance..Cubby says I have too much faith in people. Yeah...maybe I do cuz if I had seen someone in my situation, even w/ my COPD & age, I wouldve run over there to help them up. So, no more dog park for me and Tater...cant trust people to watch their dogs & I dont have the wind to do that again. Bummer. :(
