It was a gorgeous day on the Corral Creek & Upper Big South Trail yesterday. Weather was lightly breezy, low 60s and partly cloudy. It was an ideal hiking weather for rangers Jerry, Jeanne and Mike. We saw a variety of users ranging from hikers, backpackers, anglers and even kayakers on the trail. There was some great photo opportunity for moose sighting along the Long Draw Road. We also talked to RMNP Ranger, Paul, who was stationed there until October, and he reported active mountain lion evidence and territorial marking in the area. - MS
